Neem Sapling

Neem, known scientifically as Azadirachta indica, is a tree valued for centuries in traditional medicine and as a natural way to keep some garden pests away. This young sapling comes in a 30cm pot and stands 60 to 80cm tall.

Neem handles UAE heat, dry soil, and strong sun very well once it settles in, making it a low maintenance choice for a garden that will need shade in the coming years, as it eventually grows into a fair sized tree.

Water it regularly for the first year while the roots are still developing, about 2 to 3 times a week, then it needs much less. Its leaves are sometimes dried and used at home for natural remedies, an added bonus of growing one in your own garden.
