Spider Plant

Spider Plant has long, arching leaves with green and white stripes, and it sends out small baby plants on thin stems that hang down like spiders on a web, which is how it got its name.

It comes in a 15cm pot and does well in bright, indirect light, making it a good match for a hanging basket near a window or a high shelf in a UAE apartment. It is also safe for homes with cats and dogs.

Water it about once a week, letting the soil dry a little between waterings. This is one of the easiest plants to multiply, since the baby plants can be cut off and placed in water or soil to grow a brand new plant, great for sharing with neighbours and friends.
