Chinese Money Plant

Chinese Money Plant, or Pilea peperomioides, has round, flat, coin shaped leaves sitting on thin stems, giving it a fun, modern look. It originally comes from cool mountain areas in China, but adjusts well to normal indoor UAE temperatures.

It comes in a small 12cm pot and grows 20 to 25cm tall, perfect for a work desk, kitchen windowsill, or a small shelf. It likes bright, indirect light, so keep it a little back from a very sunny window.

Water it when the topsoil feels dry, roughly once a week, and turn the pot every few days so it grows evenly instead of leaning toward the light. It also grows small baby plants at its base, which you can remove and pot separately, a nice hobby for plant lovers in Dubai.
