Agave Americana

Agave Americana has long, pointed, grey-green leaves that grow outward in a bold, symmetrical rosette, giving a strong architectural look to any space it is placed in.

It comes in a 25cm pot and does very well in full sun with sandy, well draining soil, a perfect match for a dry, low water UAE garden or a large decorative pot near an entrance.

Water it only occasionally, roughly once every 3 to 4 weeks, and let it dry out fully between waterings. The leaf tips are sharp, so plant it away from walkways where people might brush past, and enjoy a plant that needs almost no attention once settled in.
