Rosemary

Rosemary is a woody, fragrant herb with narrow, needle like leaves, popular in cooking and known for its strong pine like scent. It comes in a 15cm pot.

It is naturally suited to hot, dry, Mediterranean type climates, which makes it a strong performer in UAE gardens and sunny balconies, needing far less water than most other herbs.

Water it only once the soil has dried out fully, roughly once a week, since overwatering is the most common way to harm this otherwise tough plant. Trim it regularly for the kitchen, which also helps the plant grow fuller and stronger over time.
