Lemon Grass is used in tea and cooking, with a fresh citrus smell. It comes in a 15cm pot. Very easy to grow, likes sun and water.
Lemon Grass has tall, narrow leaves with a fresh, citrus scent, widely used in teas, soups, and many South East Asian dishes. It comes in a 15cm pot and grows into a fuller clump over time.
It loves full sun and warm weather, making it a very easy, low fuss herb to grow outdoors or on a sunny balcony almost anywhere in the UAE, all year round.
Water it every 2 to 3 days, keeping the soil moist, especially in peak summer heat. Harvest the outer stalks first, cutting close to the base, which allows the plant to keep sending up new growth from the centre.
