Mint

Mint is a fast growing herb valued for its cool, refreshing flavour in tea, drinks, and salads, and it is one of the easiest herbs to keep alive at home. It comes in a 12cm pot.

It grows best with partial sun, so a spot with some morning light and afternoon shade suits it well in the UAE, especially during the hottest summer months.

Water it every 1 to 2 days, since it likes consistently moist soil and dries out fast in small pots. Because it spreads quickly through its roots, it is best kept in its own pot rather than planted directly alongside other plants.
