Washingtonia Palm

Washingtonia Palm is known for its tall, straight trunk and fan shaped fronds, a familiar sight along roads and parks across the UAE. It comes in a 60cm pot and stands about 2 metres tall already.

It is extremely tolerant of heat, wind, and full sun, making it one of the easiest large palms to keep in a UAE garden, driveway, or along a boundary wall, where it adds height and a classic desert look.

Water it 2 to 3 times a week until it is fully established, then it needs very little extra care. Old fronds naturally dry out and can be trimmed once a year to keep the tree looking neat as it continues to grow taller.
